Acts of the West Virginia Legislature dating to 1994 now Online
“The House Clerk’s office in conjunction with the Joint Committee on Government and Finance has been working to provide more information to the public through the Legislature’s website.
Published each year, the Acts of the Legislature of West Virginia is the official compilation of the bills and resolutions passed by both houses each session and which have subsequently become law. As the Legislature’s record keeper, the Clerk of the House of Delegates is charged with preparing, organizing, and distributing this publication.
Previously, only a handful of recent volumes of the Acts of the Legislature (2012, 2015-2019) had been placed online. However, staff has scanned, copied, formatted, and uploaded later volumes the last few weeks and can announce the availability of Acts of the Legislature from 1994 to present now online and will be searchable. Staff will continue this endeavor to provide as much transparency as possible and will continue to make this process better.”
