Andrew Anderson Takes Oath of Office

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Andrew Anderson of Charleston became the newest member of the West Virginia House of Delegates Aug. 24. Anderson will represent the 35th District to complete the unexpired term of former Delegate Larry Pack, R-Kanawha. The district currently includes includes the southwestern part of Kanawha County South Charleston, Dunbar, Jefferson, and St. Albans

State Supreme Court Justice Haley Bunn administered the oath of office while Anderson stood with his wife, Kristin, and their four children: Brooks, Cora, Christian, and Ford.

Anderson is a product of the Kanawha County public school system, born and raised in Cross Lanes. He has a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from West Virginia University and is an entrepreneur who has worked in manufacturing, energy and banking. “I’m so grateful Governor Justice appointed me to serve in this important role,” Anderson said. “I’m passionate about doing everything we can to ensure an economic environment here in West Virginia that will allow my children and future generations to live, work and play here in the Mountain State for decades to come.

Anderson is a member of River Ridge church in Charleston and an active outdoorsman. His favorite way to spend free time is coaching his kids’ little league baseball teams.
