Delegate Doug Skaff, Jr. stepping down as Minority Leader of House of Delegates

Charleston, WV – House of Delegates Minority Leader Doug Skaff Jr. of Kanawha County will step down as Minority Leader of the House of Delegates at the conclusion of Legislative interim meetings on Tuesday August 8th, 2023. Delegate Skaff expressed his gratefulness to colleagues for the opportunity to serve in this capacity, but he feels it is time to turn the leadership over to someone else.

Statement from Senate President Craig Blair on the passing of former Senate President Warren McGraw

Though he may be most remembered for his public service as a Justice of the Supreme Court of Appeals, Justice McGraw proudly served the people of Wyoming County as their Senator, and he never forgot his deep, proud southern West Virginia roots. On behalf of the entire West Virginia Senate, I send my prayers to the family and friends former Senate President Warren McGraw during their time of sorrow.”
